Meet Theodore George Thorpe, this is my husband, he was born on May 23, 1970 in Capetown, South Africa. That's right, thousands of miles away from me and the life we now share.
A few year later (he,he, he) I was born, Jennifer Marie Spurgeon, on April 27, 1978 in Millersburg, Ohio.
Fast forward about 31 years and Ted lands himself in Millersburg...fate worked it's magic and tadaa we are now Ted & Jen...
Before I knew it I was trying on dresses,
making my friends carve pumpkins,
getting paraffin hand treatments ?!?!?!,
being transformed into a pretty princess,
and finally on October 25, 2003, walking down the aisle...
That's right, we are riding in a hay wagon...and they tried to convince me it was going to rain!
and the pumpkins I was making my friends and family carve, were totally worth it and added such a beautiful touch to our very special day!
I knew that I had been truly blessed to meet such a wonderful man to share my life with but I knew deep down that better things were yet to come.
On July 30, 2007 we welcomed our daughter, Natalie Marie Thorpe, into our lives with a sigh of relief that the struggle to have our family grow by one was over. She was here, she was healthy, and she was just perfect.
I was so amazed that the same ribbon that was on my daughter, a living, breathing part of me was on my belly a short time ago, when I was secretly hoping for a baby girl :) ok, maybe I wasn't that secretive about it.

You must have a scanner....we do but it's not hooked up. I wanted to put Josh and I's baby pictures on too.
